The Problem in Primary Classrooms

In any standard classroom, thirty children sit in front of the same worksheet, expected to learn at the same pace. Yet, their learning needs are radically different: some face language barriers, some deal with reading difficulties like dyslexia, while others require advanced cognitive challenges to stay engaged.

For a teacher, preparing thirty different versions of a worksheet by hand is an impossible task. Consequently, teachers are forced to teach to the middle, leaving struggling students behind and advanced students bored.

What Elevexia Actually Is

Elevexia is an intelligent assistant designed to solve classroom differentiation. It does two things exceptionally well:

  1. Cognitive Observation: It pays close attention to how each child learns—their focus speed, error patterns, working memory, and response to setbacks.
  2. Dynamic Adaptation: It generates custom-tailored worksheets and tasks matching each child’s cognitive profile in under three minutes for the entire class.

The Eleven Cognitive Patterns

Rather than relying on outdated “learning style” theories, Elevexia monitors eleven distinct research-backed cognitive patterns grouped into four areas:

  • How the Child Thinks: Working memory steps, mechanics processing speed, analytical depth, and approach to novelty.
  • How the Child Engages: Steadiness, persistence under difficulty, and focus endurance.
  • What the Work Reveals: Improvement trajectory over time, precise misconception categorization, and curriculum mastery gaps.
  • Self-Awareness: The child’s meta-cognition—noticing and articulating confusion.

Five Personalized Action Notes

Based on these patterns, the system automatically suggests five action-oriented notes for each student’s folder:

  • Visual Ease: Spaced layouts and dyslexia-friendly typography.
  • Chunked Delivery: Tasks divided into smaller, high-focus sections.
  • Language Support: Scaffolding vocabulary for English Language Learners (ELL) without watering down the mathematical rigour.
  • Tactile Learning: Connecting abstract math to hands-on physical activities.
  • Cognitive Extension: Adding challenging extensions to prevent boredom.

A Strict Teacher-in-the-Loop Philosophy

Unlike other AI tools, Elevexia never makes autonomous decisions. All generated adaptations and observations are presented as suggestions. The teacher reviews, tweaks, and must sign off before anything is printed. The teacher is always in charge.
